We at Wildlife Expeditions India (Formerly Overland Expeditions India) are a small passion-driven team that has been curating bespoke wildlife holidays in India, Nepal & Bhutan for more than 15 years now.

Our journey started as India’s first company offering authentic overland journeys throughout the Indian subcontinent. Covering off beat destinations in India that people had not even heard of, we explored the unexplored. From North to South & from East to West, we did it. Wildlife safaris, cultural tour, Snow Leopard expedition tour, Red Panda expeditions tour, Big Cats of India, Birding tour Bhutan, Wildlife Photography Tour, Trans Himalayan Expedition for 100 Days through India and Nepal and lots more. We explored the best tiger reserves & national parks of India, Nepal & Bhutan.

In 2020 when COVID hit the world, the travel industry was probably the worst sufferer. We had to sell our camper van and stop operations completely. Going forward was tough, but we take our inspiration from mother nature, where everything evolves with time.

As the industry slowly crawls to normalization, we have resumed operations. Right at the core, we are not agents but professional wildlife guides that are willing to show you simply the best that the wilderness has to offer. We keep the groups small and the experience is never compromised.

As a rule of thumb, if we have not been there, we will not take you there. Every single destination that is part of our itineraries, has been explored and understood well. All our tours are led by guides who are knowledgeable, experienced, and super passionate about what they do. The logistics are also planned to the tea.
