The day we arrive we will go for the mesmerising sound and light show at the Taj. One of the Seven Wonders of the World certainly needs one whole day to be properly explored and appreciated. Thousands of ducks, cranes, storks, and teals migrate here in the winter to escape the cold in the North. We will devote one full day to exploring the park on foot. Day 7 – 9: Pink City – Jaipur

It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or “Pink City” for its trademark building color. At the center of its stately street grid (notable in India) stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace complex. With gardens, courtyards, and museums, part of it is still a royal residence. It is the most history-rich city in India. While we stay here we will visit the Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh Fort, and Amer Fort. Street shopping excursions in the Bazaars will also be very interesting in Jaipur as the city produces a lot of homemade clothing, handicrafts, etc. Rajasthan Foods are enriched with lots of ghee, mawa, and dry fruits and are very nutritious. Rajasthani Thalis are famous worldwide and include a variety of dishes. Some of the famous sweets of Jaipur are Mishri Mawa, Gulab sakri, Chougni ka laddu, Thal ki Barfi, Mohan Thal.
